Orlando Music School: The Ricmon Music School provides music instruction to students of all ages and all levels in the Greater Orlando Area.
We manage the instructors to make sure that you, your child, or loved one receives professional quality instruction, and keep track of your progress weekly. You will be asked to confirm the completion each of your lessons with our office, and let us know if you have any issues with your lessons or your instructor. We make our living from teaching and performing, so it’s our job to give you the best instruction and make sure you are happy with every aspect of your lessons. We guarantee that if you can average 30 minutes a day on our lesson methods, you will see good progress. Every student that puts forth this 30-minute minimum of focused effort sees progress and they inevitably are satisfied with their lessons.
Guitar Lessons
Rico Monaco is a versatile, accomplished teacher who shares his amazing gift of music through private guitar lessons in the Greater Orlando area. He offers private lessons in your home, in his studio, or online using our learning management system.
Drum Lessons
We offer drum lessons with some of the absolute best drummers anywhere, such as Jessie Caraballo (of Marc Anthony’s band), among many others..
Latin Percussion Lessons
We offer Latin Percussion Lessons for congas, timbales, bongos, and auxiliary percussion with some of the absolute best percussionists anywhere. Jessie Caraballo (of Marc Anthony’s band), among many others..
Piano Lessons
Our piano teachers teach a variety of styles from classical to popular music. We will show you the fundamentals as well as incorporate your favorite songs into the lesson plan. One of our instructors is Sean Andrews, who has experience in NYC on Broadway and he is very successful with young and old students.
Voice Lessons
We have some of the most experienced voice instructors who have actually worked in the music and entertainment industry, so they will be able to share what it takes for you to succeed.
Rock Band Lessons
Rico Monaco handles producing groups of student musicians and prepares them for shows or recordings. He also produces professional bands in the studio and for the stage. By joining a band, you will learn how to improvise, listen, and blend with fellow musicians. You will also learn the many different styles of music, and have several opportunities to perform outside of the school.
DJ Lessons
Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced DJ, you will find valuable and practical hands on information in this program!
Brass Lessons
Our trumpet, trombone, and/or tuba teachers will help you get the right sound, build lung capacity, and understand how to read music.
Strings Lessons
Our string teachers provide instruction for violin, viola, cello, and/or double bass. You will learn learn the correct posture, technique, and tuning for your instrument.
Fantasy Lessons
Schedule a meeting and jam session with one of your favorite national performing artists. This is a very valuable and honestly, expensive lesson. The experience varies depending on the artist from having a dinner with the artist then a jam session. However, you MUST be a serious musician, and you will be vetted for security purposes. Locations will depend on the artists availability. Ricmon Productions LLC has access to many national performing artists. Contact us to let us know who you would be interested in one of these extremely rare and valuable experiences. Currently we have Tito Puente Jr available for a Fantasy Lesson, but we can contact most any artist to see if they are available. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY.
Songwriting Class
2 hours with professional songwriters to discuss their songwriting process, songs, and answer questions. Special guest songwriters will be available, but Rico Monaco will be the instructor unless otherwise noted. Studying the Roman Numeral System and Music Harmony is included in this class. One on one private lessons or group Songwriters classes will be available.
Sound Engineering and Production Classes
Study with some of the best sound engineers and producers in the music business. Some of the items covered in this class include among many others:
- Question and answer sessions
- Demonstration of mixing techniques and processes
- Importance of pre-production demos.
One on one classes or group lessons are available and can be done online or in person.
